Some projects are all about refining and elevating what’s already there — and working with Hundy was exactly that.
Hundy came to Designer Studios wanting a full refresh of their website. While the product itself is strong, the existing site wasn’t clearly communicating what it was, how it worked, or why people needed it. On top of that, the photography wasn’t doing the brand justice, and the backend structure was missing key SEO foundations that are essential for visibility and growth.
One of the biggest focuses for this project was clarity.
We restructured the website to guide customers through a clear, easy-to-understand journey — explaining exactly what Hundy is, how it works, and what it’s made from. Breaking this down in a simple, engaging way was key to building trust and helping customers feel confident in their purchase.
Because no matter how great a product is — if people don’t understand it, they won’t buy it.
Behind the scenes, we put a strong focus on SEO optimisation.
Every page, image, and key element of the website was updated with thoughtful metadata to improve search visibility and support long-term growth. This is the kind of work that isn’t always visible, but plays a huge role in driving traffic and ultimately, sales.
Visually, we wanted the website to feel as strong and confident as the brand itself.
Working alongside Sophie Louise Creative, we created a suite of fun, eye-catching imagery that truly reflects Hundy’s vibrant colour palette and personality. The new photography brings energy to the brand and helps the product stand out in a crowded space.
Another important part of this refresh was highlighting the story behind the brand.
We made sure to showcase Hundy’s roots — its creation, production, and proudly New Zealand-made foundation. This not only adds depth to the brand, but also builds a stronger connection with its audience.
The final result is a website that feels clear, cohesive, and purpose-driven.
A site that explains the product properly, supports the brand visually, and is built on a strong SEO foundation — all working together to help Hundy grow.
