2025 Review
A Year of Gratitude, Growth & Incredible Businesses
As I sit down to reflect on the past year at Designer Studios, I feel an overwhelming sense of gratitude.
This year wasn’t just about logos, websites, or packaging design — it was about meeting and connecting with so many new people. Passionate, brave, hardworking business owners who trusted me with their ideas, their dreams, and often something they’d poured their hearts into for years.
Every project this year reminded me why I do what I do.
Working With Businesses Built From the Heart
From wellness to hospitality, construction to retail, this year brought together such a diverse and inspiring group of clients.
Working with Kimiora Healing was incredibly special — refreshing her website and capturing all of the imagery in-house allowed her business to finally function at its full potential.
LG Skin Clinic was another highlight. A brand rooted in confidence, care, and professionalism — helping bring clarity and polish to a business that genuinely changes how people feel about themselves was such a rewarding experience.
Building Brands With Strong Foundations
Working alongside Robbie and Kees from UDEN Homes and UDEN Builders was a standout project this year. Their commitment to craftsmanship, family values, and heritage was something I wanted to honour in every design decision. Creating a brand and website that felt simple, classic, and trustworthy — while still standing out — was incredibly meaningful. It’s always special working with people who are building something that allows others to create their dream homes.
Working on the creation of NEWNM — a brand built with intention, creativity, and a strong sense of character was such a pleasure to be a part of. Bringing NEWNM to life from concept through to execution was a reminder of how powerful it is when a brand is built together with a client. Projects like these that take time, creativity, and highlight the client’s talents really make me excited to be a part of.
Community, Hospitality & Connection
Some of my favourite projects this year were deeply rooted in community.
Pukekohe Golf Club and Parklands Café, Bar & Eatery were a joy to work with — places that bring people together, create memories, and play such an important role in their local communities. Helping shape the branding identities felt like contributing to something bigger than just a business.
Brands With Personality & Punch
Working with brands like Hundy reminded me how powerful good branding can be when it’s done with confidence and intention. Bold ideas, clear direction, and a willingness to stand out always lead to exciting results.
Thank You for Trusting Me
Every single client I worked with this year trusted me not just with design, but with their story. And that is something I never take lightly.
Running Designer Studios as a Mum, a business owner, and a creative hasn’t always been easy. There were long nights, tight deadlines, and moments of doubt — but there was also so much pride, growth, and joy.
I’m endlessly grateful to every client who chose Designer Studios, recommended me, shared my work, or simply believed in the process.
Bring on 2026
As I look toward the year ahead, I’m excited. Excited for new brands, new ideas, and new opportunities to support small businesses doing big things.
To my clients — past and present — thank you for letting me be part of your journey.
Here’s to another year of beautifully bold badass brands, meaningful work, and businesses that truly mean business.
